Production and preparation of test specimens: Fabricating and preparing cable specimens for measurement (e.g. cables/cable harnesses)
Carrying out mechanical measurements: Measuring the effective stiffness of cables to replicate their real mechanical properties
Documentation and evaluation of measurements: Careful record-keeping and analysis of measurement results in the context of the development of simulation methods and software

Currently studying engineering or natural sciences
Good written and spoken German
Proficiency in handling samples and measurement systems
A structured and conscientious approach to work
A meticulous and independent working style, reliability, flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team

A wide range of tasks within a dedicated, international team of scientists fully committed to applied research
Exciting research questions from the industrial sector
A varied and stimulating role at the interface between research and application

The weekly working time is between 8 and 10 hours.
